ABOUT THE CLIMATE IMPACT ATLAS
The Climate Impact Atlas is the platform for climate adaptation in Ghana. Its goal is to contribute to a climate-proof Ghana. The atlas is part of the SAFE4ALL project, a European research project. This project combines European climate services with local African insights to create useful information for different areas in Ghana.
Who is the Climate Impact Atlas for?
The Climate Impact Atlas is meant for governments, businesses, teachers, students, agricultural workers, and farmers. It provides them with important information to help Ghana become climate-proof.
How was the Climate Impact Atlas created?
The atlas builds on the knowledge created by developing the first version of the Kenya Climate Impact Atlas. The Ghana atlas is actively under development with many organizations contributing. The main contributors are the Safe4All consortium, Climate Adaptation Services, Ghana Meteorological Services (GMet), and the University for Development Studies (UDS).
